Our Story
Since 2007, Grant County Animal Outreach (GCAO) has proudly partnered with the City of Moses Lake and Grant County to serve the animals and people of our community. What began as a local effort has grown into a dedicated network of compassionate staff, Board Members, fosters, and volunteers — all united in improving the lives of pets in Grant County.
Through compassionate care, responsible stewardship, and strong community collaboration, we protect the health and well-being of every animal in our care while working to place them in loving, lifelong homes. We actively promote spay and neuter education to prevent overpopulation, utilize modern technology to reunite lost pets, and increase visibility for adoptable animals through community outreach.
GCAO remains committed to strengthening partnerships with local governments, staying responsive in times of crisis, and serving as a trusted resource for animal welfare. We fulfill this mission by fostering a professional, well-trained, and compassionate team dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our community.
Integrity, creativity, and empathy shape the way we work. Learn more about the future of GCAO.
